Lipa Noi Beach

Lipa Noi Beach is the island’s sunset-facing beach, located on the western coast of Koh Samui about 30 minutes away from the bustling hub of Nathon. It is a quiet and relatively secluded stretch of coastline known for its calm, shallow waters and peaceful ambiance. The beach is ideal for families with young children, with gentle waves safe for swimming and plenty of water sports available, such as paddleboarding, kayaking, and windsurfing.

Compared to other tourist hotspots on the island, Lipa Noi is relatively undeveloped, but there are a handful of luxury resorts, beachfront restaurants, and bars dotted along the shoreline, including the world-renowned Nikki Beach Resort. Dubbed the “sexiest place on earth,” you can expect chic pool parties with their resident DJs and an extensive menu filled with delicious cocktails and gourmet cuisine.
